Founded in 2000 the Whitman County Humane Society is the only animal shelter for all of Whitman County. As a no-kill, non-profit shelter we rely on community support and donations to help provide care for over 600 animals that pass through our doors annually. Mission: ​WCHS values the human/animal bond, provides stewardship for homeless pets, and promotes compassionate treatment of all companion animals.
